NC Blueberry Festival Announces $20,000 in Scholarships


The 2008 NC Blueberry Festival will award a minimum of $20,000 in
scholarships with one $4,000, two $3,000, three $2,000, and at least
four $1,000 awards to North Carolina students. Endowment contributions,
fundraisers, and donations from Blueberry Festival attendees contribute
to the success of this campaign.

All North Carolina high school seniors with the initiative to write a short blueberry essay are eligible for these awards. Deadline for application is March 15, 2008. More information and specifics can be found at www.ncblueberryfestival.com. If you are a senior in need of college money, you are encouraged to exercise your writing skills and apply for a blueberry scholarship.
