Holiday Classic Open Horse Show

The show will be held in Raleigh at the Hunt Horse Complex on April 19-20, 2014. This show has something for everyone!! Please remember that this show is a benefit for the North Central District 4-H Horse Program and the NCSU Western Riding Team. So, we need your help selling sponsorships for this show.
The money made from this show helps keep our NC District 4-H Horse Show entries low and helps provide scholarships for youth in our district, but we need you to help.
Also, if you would like to help volunteer at the show, please contact Richard Isley at 336-908-3302 to find out more details.
There are lots of opportunities to sell sponsors, volunteer, show and more!

College of Veterinary Medicine Open House

Time: 9 am to 3 pm
Where: College of Veterinary Medicine -
4700 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh
We share more with animals than we may know.
Animals touch our daily lives from the food we eat, the products we consume, the health care advances we benefit from, and the services, entertainment, and companionship we enjoy. Wildlife species add to the beauty and wonder of our world. The connection between wildlife, domestic animals, the environment, and humans is called "One Health" and this concept is the foundation for veterinary medicine.
The NC State College of Veterinary Medicine Open House, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, will explore the One Health concept with exhibits and discussions on the connection between animals, the environment, and people. The event also will offer the traditional opportunities to get up close with “creatures great and small,” canine demonstrations and displays, and chances to talk with faculty and DVM students. More than 40 fun and informative tour stops explain advances in veterinary medicine, veterinary medical technology, best care practices for the family pet, and what it takes to become a veterinarian.
Special attraction: The Smithsonian Institution's traveling exhibit, "Animal Connections—Our Journey Together”, a 1,000-square-foot science museum will be available to tour.
Location: 4700 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh
