Deadlines are quickly approaching for the NC Livestock School and East Coast Extravaganza. Also, we are still posting dates in regards to several upcoming events so please take a minute to browse through our website.
What: NC Livestock School
When: March 2
Deadline: Entries are due Friday, February 22
Where: Eastern Carolina Agricultural & Education Center, Rocky Mount
Who: This event is open to youth that wants to learn more about showing livestock. This is a hands-on event designed for youth ages 9-18.
What: East Coast Extravaganza
When: March 2-3
Deadline: Entries are due Friday, February 22, late entries will be an additional $5
Where: Eastern Carolina Agricultural & Education Center, Rocky Mount
Who: Youth that wants to exhibit Heifers, Steers, Market Goats, or Market Lambs.
What: Got to be NC Calf Sale
When: March 2
Where: Eastern Carolina Agricultural & Education Center, Rocky Mount
Who: Opportunity for youth or adults to purchase heifers or steers to be shown. Also, there will be a separate class for cattle purchased through this sale at the 2019 NC Junior Beef Round-Up. Also, if you have a producer that would like to consign a calf feel free to contact Walter Earle at 252-205-7123 for additional details.
