Family Targeted Workshops @ NC Cattleman's Meeting

They will have "Family Targeted Workshops" on February 27th7 from 9 am until noon during the NC Cattlemen's Conference in Hickory, NC. The workshop topics will include: farm safety for families, truck safety, grazing for youth/setting up temporary fence, mobile dairy classroom, animal ID, use of drones in animal agriculture, livestock nutrition and physiology classroom, and industry perspectives of older folk and youth and of conventional and alternative producers.This is a great opportunity so don't miss out. 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H is a fun and educational program for children ages 5-19. Alleghany County 4-H offers general and special interest clubs, school enrichment and special interest programs (such as summer fun) and summer camps.
