Recently several Alleghany County 4-Hers traveled to Salisbury to participate in the 2008 State 4-H Dairy Judging Contest. The Alleghany Senior Division Team finished in third place out of nine teams with a score of 885 points. Team Members included: Bridgette Sturgill, Dustin Lambert and Maggie Evans. Bridgette also came in fourth in the individual contest results and all team members will be invited to try out for a position on the 2009 State 4-H Dairy Judging Team.
